Absolutely terrible experience with my "deep clean" for my move out - Absolute rip-off !I hired JA Clean services for... a couple casual cleanups for my small 1-bed, it was generally fine. I made the mistake of hiring them for what they call a "deep clean" service which they charge £190+. after calling the agent, he assured me that the service, even though expensive, was a top-notch service and he guaranteed i would have no problems on my inventory day and that this service is unlike the other cleaning jobs as a "professional" cleaner who is tasked with the job. The guy came in for less than 4 hours, was rushed, left dust on the blinds, didn't clean the toilet properly, left the wooden floors sticky. When i called the agent and reported this, he told me cleaning the blinds and scrubbing the floor is not part of the "deep clean" ?!?? but he kept re-assuring me that it is fine and that he knows estate agents and they will be satisfied with the clean. Well guess, what they were not! the inventory rep raised the exact same observations about the toilet and floors, and the agent said that the cleaning was done at the best of their ability and that there was permanent damage to the floor which they can do nothing about. the estate agency later informed me that they hired "professional cleaners" who took care of the issues, and charged me an extra £130 !!Steer clear from these scammers !read more
